HP announced a brand new display yesterday. The 2709m is the largest LCD for the mainstream computer market. At 27-inches, it features 1080p and can be used as a TV as well if you like. It sports an HDMI input as well as VGA and DVI, so you can hook up all of your DVD players etc. Other features include tilting for viewing angles and a built-in 4-watt speaker system. You can get the HP 2709m LCD display starting today for about $500 on the company’s site. The 2709m also sports a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and an anti-glare coating, so you can expect a bright colorful picture.
