Undercover Laptop Sleeve

The Undercover Laptop Sleeve is a padded laptop sleeve that helps protect your laptop from damage, while it also protects it from theft. The padded sleeve will prevent your laptop computer from getting banged up and scratched, but what’s awesome is that the outside of the sleeve is made to look like an old used padded envelope.

So people will think you have useless paperwork or something else inside. Thieves will pass it by, never knowing that they missed out on a laptop. You can even write on the envelope to make it more realistic. The sleeve is also waterproof. Pretty good idea.

LG X13 netbook spotted in FCC photo shoot

Sure, its phone lineup has more or less gone the way of the KIRF, but LG's other endeavors are decidedly more interesting, and this new X13 netbook (more than likely the X130 when it launches) that's popped up in the FCC is no exception. Compared with the X120, the body here appears to have a slightly wider form factor and the front doesn't curve quite as dramatically. All the FCC is testing for is Bluetooth and WiFI -- sorry 3G hopefuls -- but specs-wise, we'd venture a guess and say it's sporting a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM... you know, the same specs found in virtually every other netbook in existence. Hey, maybe we'll get proven wrong, but with no clue on when LG's going official with this one, we might be waiting quite some time for verification.

Sony to release Vaio P Mark 2 in October

According to TechRadar there will be a “range” of Vaio Ps coming later this year. The original line just got a minor spec boost that makes the Vaio P as fast as normal netbooks. At this time we don’t have details on what the new machines will have as far as specs. The news was out when a Sony rep informed TechRadar at a recent launch event for its new Vaio NW laptop and Vaio W netbook that, while overall sales of the ultraportable P Series hadn’t gone through the roof, they were still selling a significant amount to certain niche markets.
